MANCHESTER – 10h30: Story telling session for families at Levenshulme’s Library, Cromwell Grove, Manchester M19 3QE

A fun bubble inhabited by a story told both in French and English, for children aged 0 to 4, together with their parents.


MANCHESTER – To be confirmed: Story telling at Manchester Central Library, St Peter’s Square, Manchester M2 5PD

We will make the most of these times at the Central Library to share a story in both French and English. A good opportunity to improve our vocabulary in both languages!

LIVERPOOL –  From 5:30pm onwards: Welcoming the illustrators at the Oasis in the park, Sefton Park

An afternoon aperitif and an opportunity to meet with Joel Legars et Antonin Dubuisson, two illustrators just arriving from France.


MANCHESTER – 10h30: Workshop with primary school children from Levenshulme at Levenshulme’s Library, Cromwell Grove, Manchester M19 3QE

A small session to provide the children a taste of a different language, and invite them to learn more.

MANCHESTER – 15h30: French « goûter » and story telling at the Parsonage, The Old Parsonage, Stenner Ln, Manchester M20 2RQ Didsbury

A story, some chouquettes… What else would we need? Maybe some sunshine?

MANCHESTER – From 17h30: Meeting with Joel Legars and Antonin Dubuisson at Home Café, Emmanuel Church, 6 Barlow Moor Road, Didsbury, Manchester, M20 6TR

The illustrators will be signing their books around a friendly drink. A good opportunity to ask them questions.


MANCHESTER – 11h: Meeting and reading for toddlers (up to 4 year old) with Stéphanie Bishop, Man bites Frog, 378 Barlow Moor Road Chorlton M21 8AZ

Come and discover new stories for the little ones! Joel Legars will be there and will show some of his books.

Come and meet the illustrators, have a drink and discover Mike Lennon on this Bastille Day!

Rewrite a poem, listen to a short story in a box, some creative ways to begin to understand the French language!

A joyful moment with stories, cartoons, drawings, and French aperitif! Come and share this with us!


MANCHESTER – From 9h30: Joel Legars will meet the children from the French Complementary School Cours de Récré (this is a private session, please get in touch with Les Cours de Récré if you would like to attend)

LEEDS – To be confirmed: Antonin Dubuisson will meet the children from the French Complementary School La Petite Ecole de Leeds
